NANO KOREA is a global exhibition where major businessmen and researchers in the field of nano technology get together. In the last event, 194 organizations from 9 countries including Korea, Japan, China and Germany have participated as exhibitors and 6,947 people from 41 countries have visited the event. As the international nano technology conference IEEE NANO will be held in conjunction with NANO KOREA in 2010, the event is expected to attract more international interest, more participation from exhibitors around the world and more number of global buyers

150 world-renowned scholars in the field of nano technology including Robert Grubs (California Institute of Technology, Winner of 2005 Nobel Prize for Chemistry) and Peter Grunberg (Julich Research Centre, Winner of 2007 Noble Prize for Physics) will make presentations and 200 poster presentations will be made. 700~800 professionals and industry experts in the field will visit Korea. In particular, ‘INDIA Day’ will be hosted as a part of the event to provide a venue for international exchange and cooperation on the latest research results between Korea and India.

The NANO KOREA Exhibition will be held in conjunction with Microtech World (The 3rd Micro/MEMS technology exhibition), co-hosted by Korea-Japan-Germany and The 2nd Korea International Printing Machinery & Equipment Show with Conference to expand the scope of technology exchange and to maximize synergy between industries. In 2010, major buyers in the nano industry in Japan and Germany will be invited for a 1:1 “Overseas Buyer Meetings” for the first time.

IEEE NANO Conference is an international conference for the nano field hosted by the world-renowned IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, New York).
