For the last 10 years, businesses, universities, research institutes and the government have collaborated in developing nano technology as one of the key technologies for the technology convergence in the future. As a result, Korea ranks as number 4 leading natnion the US, Japan and Germany in the field of nano technology(2005, Lux Reserch, USA : Ranking the Nations : Nanotech's Shifting Global Leaders) and aims at becoming world's Top 3 Nano technology leader by 2015.

Since its inaugural exhibition in 2003, NANO KOREA has grown in terms of quality and quantity and became one of the Top 3 nano technology exhibitions in the world.
